We are preparing to DIG UP the Cryptic Deposit made in 1972, near the Masonic Marker at Black Camp Gap just up the mountain from Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Many have attended the Great Smokies Summer Assembly since back in the mid 1930\’s, when our forefathers made a deposit, which was dug up in 1972, and another deposit made. In July of 2022, that deposit made in 1972, will be dug up.

We need the participation of you and your local, state, national and international bodies to send items for the new deposit to be buried in 2022, and dug up in 2072, by those York Rite Masons in that day. Please contact us using the contact form below for shipment information.

What to send? In the 1972, deposit there are Coins, Pins, Proceedings, Chapter Pennies, Small Booklets, Small Plaques, Jewels, Histories, Brochures, Masonic Talks, Delegate Badges for Triennials, Miniature Apron, Laminated Photos, Programs of Events, and a Small Holy Bible form the original deposit. There needs to be a brief written description of each item sent for the catalog.

To have time to properly catalog and prepare the deposit, before being buried we need to receive your item no later than May 15, 2022, for it to be included in the deposit.
