Kathryn Ladd and Jamark Parker – Youth Advocate Award

On Saturday, August 20th in Monroe, NC at the Monroe Masonic Temple, during the North Carolina
DeMolay State officer installation, members of the Monroe York Rite Bodies presented 2 Youth
Advocate Awards. The awards were presented to two local teachers.

Kathryn Ladd, a local teacher, was presented the award for her many years of dedicated service to the
youth of Union County and over the last several years, for her continued support of the Charlotte order
of DeMolay. The award was presented on behalf of the Monroe York Rite Bodies by the North Carolina
Grand Council Deputy Grand Master Bill Poteat.

Jarmark Parker, a local coach and teacher, was presented the award for his years of dedicated service to
the youth of Union County and the constant guidance of his students on and off the competition fields.
Coach Parker was presented the award on behalf of the Monroe York Rite Bodies by the North Carolina
Grand Chapter High Priest Chris Hall.
