On October 5, 2020, a conference call was held with the North Central Region\’s Recorders. A summary of the call is below.

Attendees: Dennis Newman, David Schrier, Dan Hobson, George Bauder, Leo Rognlin, Robin Hill, Michele Balke, Carl Lidstrom, Stephen Balke, Monty Glover

1. Invocation – Dan Hobson
2. GGC 48 – Hitting the Ground Running.
3. Using Google Forms – Effective?
   1. Simple, Easy to use
   2. Focus meeting on ideas rather than easily iterable information.
4. Triennial Assembly – Brief Discussion.
   1. Didn’t like voting on Zoom – Use the Forms
   2. Hybrid meetings will be inclusive of ALL types of travel limited Companions.
      1. Lodges are doing this, Michigan did this.
   3. Registration process is paramount to getting things done.
   4. $10.00 to CMMRF good idea.
5. North Central York Rite Conference
   1. Online registration – Zoom meeting
   2. Charging $10.00 – donation to CMMRF
      1. Replacing “pass the hat” that would happen in person.
   3. Chapter Session – link is out.
   4. Commandery Session – GEKT Office will send out the link.
6. Jurisdiction Events, Activities, and Programs.
   1. 10 new Companions in Nebraska
   2. 10 new Companions in Burlington, Iowa (Robin will follow up)
7. Suggestions, Improvements, or Opportunities.
8. Meeting time and day – Change to Thursday? Later in the day?
   1. 4th Thursday, 11:00 AM MDT/12:00 PM CDT
   2. November – Friday, November 27, 2020 (Thanksgiving)
   3. December – Thursday, December 31, 2020 (Christmas)
9. Final Comments
   1. Yorkritewis.org new website.
   2. THe GGM invites all Companions to participate in “Fireside Chats” once each month. Open meeting for two-way conversation. Talk Stories.
