Passing of Delores \”Dee\” J. Anderson, 1932-2021

Editor\’s Note: Dolores \”Dee\” Anderson was the wife of Most Puissant Companion Perry B. Anderson, General Grand Master 2002-2005.

Dolores “Dee” J. Anderson, 89, of Pierre, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021. An Eastern Star Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Feigum Funeral Home. A Celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, November 5, 2021, at Feigum Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Wexler officiating. Inurnment will take place at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis. Dee’s Celebration of Life will be broadcast live at www.feigumfh.com.

Dee was born May 13, 1932, in Fruitdale, SD, to Howard “Skip” and Leah (Willman) Zink. Dee grew up in Lead, SD, and graduated from Provo High School. She married Perry B. Anderson on March 3, 1951, celebrating their 70th anniversary earlier this year. The couple moved to Pierre where they have resided since 1959. Dee was the Past Worthy Matron of Capital City Chapter 39 Order of the Eastern Star and Past Worthy Grand Matron of South Dakota.

Dee is survived by her husband Perry B. Anderson, son Greg (Deb) Anderson, daughter LeAnn Bruno, grandchildren: Anthony Bruno, Nicholas Bruno, Claire Anderson and Ian Anderson. She was preceded in death by her son Bruce Anderson in 1952 and son Steven Anderson in 2012.
