Brother Ronald Edgar Metcalf, 33°, of Kittery, Maine passed away Sun., October 16, 2022.

On Sat., November 12, 2022, at St. John\’s Episcopal Church at 100 Chapel St., Portsmouth, a Masonic Service will be held from 11:00am to 11:15am, followed by a Memorial Service.

Brother Metcalf was a 58 year member of the Valley of Portsmouth-Dover, joining in 1964. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Award in 2002; and was coronated a 33° Honorary Member of our Supreme Council in August of 2007.

He served our Grand Lodge as District Deputy Grand Lecturer for 1974 and District Deputy Grand Master for 1975 and 1976. Brother Metcalf was also the presiding officer of all three Grand York Rite Bodies in New Hampshire, as well as being a member of numerous invitational bodies. He served as RE Grand Commander in 1986, as ME Grand High Priest in 1996 and as MI Grand Master in the year 2000. He was a Past Grand Governor for the YRSCNA and a Former Intendant General for UGIC, Red Cross of Constantine.
