On April 28, a conference call was held with the Southwest Regional Recorders. A summary of the call is below.

Arizona

  • Meeting in person – up to the local leadership.
  • Festival May 8, 2021 – Phoenix York Rite
  • Sessions
    • August 19-21, 2021
    • azsessions.org – registration, etc.
    • Mesa, AZ – Doubletree by Hilton

California

  • MWGM
    • Opened – under conditions
    • Master must check on two things – COVID Vaccination – or Negative w/i 72 hours.
    • Temples with multiple groups – one per day.
    • Seating charts – assigned seating – at least 6 feet apart.
    • Masks, social distancing, sanitization, all required.
    • Lodges are subscribing – some opening in May
    • York Rite Bodies – anticipating June or July (Governor’s openings)
  • Grand Chapter/Grand Commandery
    • Any that want to open must comply with GEKT GO 14
    • AND MWGM directives.
  • Festivals
    • Chapter Festival – June 26, 2021 – CANCELLED
    • Interest in the Colorado River Fall Festival
  • Sessions
    • May 8, 2021
    • Virtual – Registration is closed.
    • Bill is attending.

Hawaii

  •  No report

Nevada

New Mexico

  • Governor’s Office
    • Limited to 10 people in most areas with York Rite
    • Governor is still in lockdown mode.
  • Grand Sessions
    • April 17 – Council Line Didn’t move.
    • Other lines advanced.
    • April 2022 – one week before or after Easter
    • Ballut Abyad Shrine Center, Albuquerque, NM
  • One York RIte petition in last 18 months.
  • Land of Enchantment Festival tentative in July
  • Fraternal Organizations – submitted lawsuit against Governor (not Masonry)

Utah
