Update from Taipei Council No. 1

On Saturday July 4th, 2020 Taipei Council #1 held its 90th Stated Assembly and Conferral. It is with great pleasure that I inform you that our Conferral was a huge success. The event far exceeded my expectations, especially given some of the considerable obstacles we have had to overcome this year. We had 11 local Companions and 1 visiting Companion in attendance, all of whom stayed for the duration of the afternoon with one exception. We fulfilled our obligation to put our Cryptic Mason at Sight, Mark Wang, through the Degrees and we Greeted 4 new Companions. In total, we had 17 in attendance.

There is no doubt that the ongoing support you have provided was a key factor in the success of our Conferral. Additionally, the efforts of our Recorder, Illustrious Companion Winston Chen, were invaluable in helping to ensure the turn-out that we had.

With these new candidates, the amazing ongoing efforts of some of our older members and one more year of new Companions, we might just end up being a pretty strong Council in this region.
